UKIP's welfare policy

Saturday, 30th January 2010

It covers child benefit and tax credits, housing benefit and social housing, job seekers' allowance and disability allowance.

The abolition of national insurance contributions and the raising of tax threshholds will encourage firms to take on workers and enable people to keep more of what they earn, thus reducing welfare dependency.
